Teeth

  • One of the notable bands of the 90’s
  • Has finished a series of full-packed bar tour in Manila and other provinces last November-December 2018.
  • Did a successful reunion concert at the Dubai Tagfest last March 2018, where they performed for the Filipino community in Dubai alongside Kamikazee, Moonstar88 and 6cyclemind.
  • In 2003, their greatest hits album Dogs Can Fly (Teeth’s Finest) was released. After the release, they went on a hiatus to focus on other musical ventures. Last May 2014 in Manlia, after a 10-year hiatus, the band got together again and played their hits.
  • In 1999, the band released “I Was a Teenage Tree”. The album contained the single “Shooting Star” which was awarded Song of the Year at the NU 107 Rock Awards in 2000.
  • Signed to Warner Music Philippines, the band released their self-titled debut album in 1995 which included two of their greatest hits ever, the iconic “Laklak” and “Prinsesa”; the LP went double-platinum.
  • Their song “Laklak” exploded onto the airwaves and is considered by many Filipinos as the anthem for drinking. The track topped the charts of the Philippines’ adventurous alternative rock station LA-105 for 12 weeks and was re-recorded and crossed over into the mainstream, stirring controversy with its alcohol-fueled lyrics; it was voted Song of the Year at the 1995 NU 107 Rock Awards.
