Imago’s latest single “Partida” is a collaboration with up and coming rap artist and good friend BenteDos.
The idea for the collaboration popped up while the Imago was in Raymund Marasigan’s home studio laying in backing tracks for their live shows. Raymund works with BenteDos and had his vocal tracks on his computer. For fun he stuck some rap vocals onto one of Imago’s older songs and everyone decided there should be a real collaboration. The single is a fresh departure from their usual sound, and is inspired by the fresh energy of their new singer Kiara San Luis and BenteDos, both of whom are first time recording artists.
Produced and arranged by Raymund, the song was recorded at Kodama studios under engineer Shinji Tanaka. Buddy Zabala came in for vocal production duties.
“Partida” is release under Universal Records Philippines. It is now available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer and Amazon.
