Banda Ni Kleggy continues with their signature style in music turning heartbreak into feel-good anthems by releasing their newest single, “Niloloko Mo Lang Sarili Mo,” recorded at Velvet Playground and released under Soupstar Music last April 24, 2025 on all digital platforms.
The song tells the story of people who love too much—the kind of love where they give everything without leaving anything for themselves. “Alam mo nang niloloko ka na, mahal mo pa rin,” Kleggy shared because the track is dedicated to those who continue loving even when they already know they are being fooled and hurt in the relationship.
“Niloloko Mo Lang Sarili Mo” carries a surprisingly light and catchy sound. Kleggy explained that this has always been part of Banda ni Kleggy’s identity as a band telling heavy and emotional stories in a lighter and more relatable way.
“Kung maririnig niyo yung ibang albums namin, yung mabibigat na istorya, kinukwento lang namin ng magaan,” he shared. Instead of making listeners feel weighed down, the band wanted the song to remain easy to listen to while still delivering its emotional message.
The track is not limited to romantic struggles alone, but also reflects the everyday realities many Filipinos quietly face and choose to endure. The track subtly incorporates familiar Filipino experiences into the song through humor and emotion. “Niloloko Mo Lang Sarili Mo” serves as a light yet meaningful reminder not to keep holding on to promises that sound good but never truly arrive.
Kleggy also credited his bandmates for helping shape the overall arrangement and direction of the track alongside their Manager Darwin Hernandez who wrote and produced the song.
