On September 7, 2026 Better Days joined the Barangay Love Stories Media Day, where the band performed their version of “Torete” and celebrated alongside the people behind the program ahead of its historic television premiere.
From the airwaves to television, Barangay Love Stories is taking its biggest leap yet, with Better Days’ fresh take on Moonsta88’s iconic “Torete” set to become part of the program’s first three television episodes.
For the first episode of Barangay Love Stories, the popular drama program and podcast of Barangay LS 97.1 hosted by Papa Dudut, Better Days’ version of “Torete” will serve as its featured soundtrack as the program makes its highly anticipated television debut on September 12, 4:00 PM on GMA.
The television debut will feature Shuvee Etrata and Anthony Constantino, followed by Sofia Pablo and Iñigo Jose in the second episode, while Ashley Sarmiento and Rave Victoria will take the spotlight in the third episode.
For Better Days, being given the chance to create their own version of “Torete,” the beloved Pinoy classic originally by Moonstar88 is something the band feels incredibly lucky and grateful for. To put their own sound and interpretation into a song that has been part of many Filipino love stories is both a privilege and honor.
