Jem is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Lucban, Quezon now a signed recording artist under Soupstar Music.
Her passion for music made her come to Manila and cross paths with Soupstar Music when she started as an intern. Later on, Soupstar head Darwin Hernandez discovered her musical talent through her original songs.
Her debut single is “Dapit-Hapon”. The song was composed by Jem and produced by Eunice Jorge of Gracenote.
Jem releases her rendition of “Huwag Na” which came from one of 6cyclemind’s songs in its rich catalog. This is her second installment to her recently released debut EP “Sentimo” – a collection of some of her favorite Tagalog love songs. The curated collection is composed of some of the best yet underrated love songs in the country namely Huwag Na by 6cyclemind, Ganyan by Protein Shake, Teka by Paraluman, Gilid by Moonstar88 and Para by Viixi.
Her rendition of “Ganyan” was nominated in Awit Awards 2023 Best Pop Recording category.
