This deal is even more special to Soupstar as Moonstar88 was the first artist Soupstar Music ever signed to a recording deal, making this partnership a meaningful continuation of a long-standing creative and professional relationship. Moreover, this move signals the band’s return to a major-label setup because prior to this, they had been operating independently, releasing music mainly through distribution partnerships.
As part of the new deal, Moonstar88 is set to release a full-length album with 13 tracks, their biggest release to date. The first single, “GOMA,” will be released on May 27, 2026, followed by another single in July.
