After their last EP release entitled “Gusto ko Lang Maalala”, The Vowels They Orbit, managed by Soupstar Music drops their newest song “Mapanatili” under Sony Music.
The indie pop/rock band delves into the heart of yearning, turning the desire to hold on to someone into a song that hopes to capture more hearts.
“Mapanatili” explores the lengths one is willing to go just to keep someone in their life. Its words of woe and melancholic melody let the listeners hear and feel the longing of the heart for another.
For the vowels they orbit, “Mapanatili” is more than a song about longing but is also about being willing to go through any hard time just to keep the person you love. Through the song, the band hopes to connect with listeners who have experienced the same feeling of wanting someone to stay, even when holding on becomes difficult.
